Vintage 501 jean short from Levi's with a frayed, cut off hem, high rise

• Designed exclusively for Overdress Vintage and  from distressed vintage denim cut for a relaxed loose fit and button fly
• As these are vintage Levi’s - each pair is entirely different and due the nature of being vintage do not expect perfection these are vintage shorts and are meant to look distressed imperfect and frayed. 
• We are finding that from customer feedback our shorts are true to size. 
• If you would like to wear the shorts loose and baggy and low on your hips then size up. 
• Or if you wish to wear them high waisted and as a close fit to your body then go for your true size 
• Use the measurements below as a guide of the measurement of the garment.  Generally this measurements need to be slightly bigger than your own body measurements
• For the sizes below please note the  width/waistband  is the of width the shorts as measured on its waist band not your waist and this has been doubled, so do not compare your waist measurement to the below when considering- this the LEVIS protocol for sizing.  It can be helpful to compare this measurement to a pair of shorts you have.  

Based on our experience of selling these shorts we have complied this size guide.  Please note the width = waistband of the shorts not your waist 

U.K  size 6  width of waistband is 25-26 inches

U.K. size 8  width of waistband  is 27- 29 inches 

U.K size 10 width of waistband is 30-31inches 

U.K size 12 width of waistband is 32-33 inches 

UK size 14 width of waistband is 34 inches

The length of the leg of the shorts - measuring from the waistband to the end of the leg of the shorts is approx 12/13inches.
